Arrested.

Good Morning,

We are pleased to announce that the man known in the Clarendon Park area as “The Cap Man” was arrested on Wednesday night after persistently knocking at an address and refusing to leave. He was ushered away by concerned neighbours and arrested by attending officers shortly after.

He is now the subject of strict supervision with the police, and we will be working with Leicester City Council to come to a sustainable long-term outcome to reduce the impact of his actions on the community.

We would like to extend our thanks, firstly to the neighbours who diligently looked out for the occupant of the address and secondly to the community for their patience and reporting him to us when he visited their homes uninvited.
